chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2019-12-03 00:32

Tributes have been paid to the two victims who died in Friday's terrorist attack in London.

Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, were fatally stabbed on London Bridge, near where the two were attending a prisoner rehabilitation conference that the attacker was also involved in.

The knifeman, 28-year-old Usman Khan, also injured three others before police arrived and shot him dead.

Khan was convicted in 2012 for his role in a terrorist plot to blow up the London Stock Exchange, and was released early from prison a year ago.
