Patient playing violin during brain surgery

A patient at King's College Hospital played violin as surgeons worked to remove a tumor from her brain. This was to avoid damaging any crucial area in the patient's frontal lobe that controlled the hand movement while playing an instrument. The operation was successful and the patient has left the hospital.
