Mountains and villages became a hazy fairyland after rain hit Banping village in Zhangjiajie city, Hunan province on Thursday. The Wulingshan Highway, like a magnificent rainbow, wound through the foggy "curtain", adding more mystery and festive charm to the Dragon Boat Festival.

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is traditionally celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month on Chinese lunar calendar.
