China's top political advisory body holds news conference ahead of annual session

BEIJING -- The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, China's top political advisory body, held a news conference on Monday, one day before its annual session.

Liu Jieyi, spokesperson for the third session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, briefed the press on the session.

Annual session of top political advisory body to run from March 4 to 10

The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is set to open at 3 pm on Tuesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and will conclude on the morning of March 10, lasting for six days.
