Joel Mikael Walker, better known by his Chinese name Wu Ming, which can translate as "anonymous", has been living in Henan for a decade. Fluent in the local dialect, he's spent those years studying and practicing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Despite his name, Wu Ming is far from anonymous in Henan. Locals who spot him often rush over to take photos, greeting him like an old friend.

Wu Ming is hardly surprised when the "becoming Chinese" trends have swept across Western social media. "Everyone wants to be healthy," he says, "and TCM offers a great path".

Watch the video for more of Wu Ming's wellness wisdom: Stay happy. Be kind. The rest will follow.
