China's green development lays new path for Global South

What's your understanding of China's achievements in green development? Friends from the Global South shared their perspectives with China Daily during the parallel sub-forum two of the third High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development on April 22.

"China has been quite forward with its green development," said Abraham Achile Ben-Obaje, an engineer working with the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria.

Ben-Obaje added that solar panels and electric vehicles are a common sight in China, indicating that the country's transition away from fossil fuels is beneficial for the environment and the climate.
