IMD professor highlights potential for China-US synergy in AI development

In a recent interview with China Daily, Mark Greeven, professor of management innovation at the International Institute for Management Development, said, beyond competition, there is significant scope for synergy between China and the US in the field of artificial intelligence — particularly in mitigating AI risks, advancing AI for scientific discovery, and integrating software intelligence with hardware manufacturing for the real application of AI.

According to Greeven, such cooperation would benefit not only both countries, but the whole world.
