The 2026 "Free Wilderness" China Enduro Trophy concluded on Sunday in Ba'nan district of Chongqing. The two-day event, set against the dramatic backdrop of a former mining site, attracted over 100 riders from home and abroad, all vying for victory on a 5.2-kilometer track known for its challenging natural terrain.

The track featured gravel sections, rock fields, steep slopes, narrow forest trails, and undulating gullies. Unlike artificial tracks, these natural obstacles tested the riders' endurance, technical skills, and adaptability, pushing them to their limits as they navigated climbs, jumps, and sharp turns.

The competition was divided into five categories: International Elite, Domestic Open, ADV (Adventure Motorcycle), Women's, and New Energy. The winners in each category were as follows: Sun Jiawei claimed victory in the International Elite category; Li Wangpeng won the Domestic Open category; Li Wei emerged as the winner in the ADV category; Li Meng topped the Women's category; and Deng Yongjie secured first place in the New Energy category.

According to the organizing committee, this event not only showcased high-level off-road racing and new energy motorcycle technologies, but also served as a crucial platform for motorcycle sports exchanges between the southwestern municipality and neighboring Sichuan province.

The competition also featured a range of side events, including a motorcycle carnival, a themed market, and a local agricultural products fair, drawing over 20,000 visitors and spectators. These events added to the festive atmosphere and demonstrated the event's appeal beyond just the racing community.
