Laughter and applause rang through the Fontvieille big top as the 48th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival showcased some of the world's most talented circus performers.
Held from Jan 16 to 25, the festival brought together artists from across the globe, offering diverse activities that included flying trapeze, hand-to-hand acrobatics, contortion, juggling, teeterboard routines, and equestrian displays.
The festival opened with an equestrian act by the Richter family and featured Latvian artist's intricate pigeon training display. Mexican aerialists performed daring high-flying routines, while the Italian clown family added lighter, comedic moments.
